Be Their Hero

JCHS Lost & Found Info.
Resources
At Jefferson County Humane Society, our mission is to help reunite lost and found pets with the families who love them. We understand how stressful and heartbreaking it can be when a pet goes missing. We encourage you to spread the word through flyers, social media, and your community.
Lost pets can travel farther than expected, so sharing their information increases the chance of bringing them home safely. If your pet is lost or you have found a pet, please contact us and provide any details, photos, and identifying markings that may help in the search. Together, we can help bring pets safely back where they belong.
To reach us by phone please call us at: 1-785-945-6600

Remember that pets do have an incredible memory for their loved ones, and even if they have been apart for a while, there is always a chance of reuniting.
Whether it's through scent, voice, or appearance, the bond between a pet and their owner can withstand the test of time. It's never too late to find a long-lost pet and experience the joy of being reunited.
