This precious girl melted the heart of a wonderful lady from Austin, Texas, who loved her so much that she flew all the way to KCI Airport and rented a car just to come meet and adopt her! ā¤ļøšŸ¶

Now Delci is Texan with a life filled with love, cuddles, and happily-ever-after's. šŸ”

Draco the Gentle Giant

After a long and heartbreaking journey, our gentle giant Draco has finally found the remarkable family he has always deserved! šŸ„¹ā¤ļø

Ā 

Draco has been an on-and-off resident of Jefferson County Humane Society since July 10, 2021, having been surrendered multiple times due to family misfortune and misunderstandings.

Ā 

Through it all, this sweet boy continued to wait patiently for someone to truly see his loving heart. šŸ¶šŸ’™

Ā 

Now, his waiting is over! šŸ”šŸŽ‰ Draco has found his forever family!

Ā 

We couldn't be happier for this deserving boy.

Animal Donations Needed:

Jefferson County Humane Society has recently welcomed more foster kittens, young kittens, and cats who depend on wet pĆ¢tĆ© and milk replacer as they transition to eating on their own.

Ā 

Our dogs need help too!

Ā 

We are desperately in need of dog treats to reward good behavior, teach basic commands, build trust, and show them love while they wait for their forever homes.

Ā
