JCHS Special Adoptable Cats

GiGi is a beautiful female Savannah cat. 

She is an F7, which means she is seven generations removed from the African Serval. 

 

GiGi seeks a patient, loving owner to help her feel secure. She's timid and needs a calm home where she can adjust at her own pace.

GiGi is friendly and has the potential to form a strong, loving bond with the right person.

 

We hope to find her the perfect fit that appreciates this breed and is committed to giving GiGi the care, time, and understanding she deserves.

 

Key Behavioral Characteristics of this breed:

 

• High Energy & Intelligence: They are not typical lap cats; they are intelligent, active, and need mental stimulation. 

 

• Dog-like Traits: Many Savannahs learn to play fetch, walk on leashes, and follow their owners from room to room (often described as "Velcro cats").

 

• Affectionate & Social: Once bonded, they are generally affectionate and form strong bonds with their owners, often getting along well with other pets.

 

• Water Loving: Unlike most cats, Savannahs often enjoy playing in water, splashing, or joining their owners in the shower.

 

• High Jumpers: They are athletic, tall, and enjoy climbing high, requiring secure, tall cat trees.

 

• They thrive in active households that can provide daily, high-intensity play sessions.
